BENNU Legal Services is a nonprofit legal aid agency that works with suburban-based immigrants, as well as businesses, to build stronger and healthier communities.
BENNU provides legal and business counseling to families and small-business entrepreneurs on a sliding-fee scale, often on a "low bono" basis. Through its services, BENNU helps families and employers to do it right with respect to US immigration law, and we work to make sure that the government, too, complies to the law.
BENNU also supports small businesses in job creating and in their compliance with employment laws. Our tagline of "Supporting American Dreams" encapsulates the legal aid BENNU offers. Through the financial support of others, we often provide critical legal aid to victims of serious crimes, such as sexual abuse and domestic violence.
Through collaborations with many key organizations, BENNU's multicultural staff meets clients at locations convenient to them. We help individuals rise to new beginnings like our mascot, the Egyptian phoenix, or bennu bird. We are a nonpartisan, nondenominational 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
